03
Quotes & project start
Every project begins with a written quote sent via email. Each quote includes:
- Scope of work
- Estimated timeline
- Total fee
- Deposit amount and payment schedule
All project-specific terms — deposit percentage, milestones, deliverables,
timelines, exclusions — must be agreed in writing via email before work begins.
Verbal agreements are not binding until confirmed via email.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued, after which pricing may be revised.
04
Payment terms
Project deposits
Project deposits typically range from 30% to 70% of the total fee,
depending on the size, complexity, and scope of the project. The exact percentage is
agreed in writing via email before project start. Both sides must agree on the terms,
and finalized details are recorded by email.
Work begins only after the deposit is received.
Final balance
The remaining balance is due before final delivery or launch, per the schedule
agreed by email. For multi-stage projects, milestone payments may be agreed in writing.
Recurring services
Hosting, maintenance, retainers, AI phone, and similar recurring services are billed
monthly in advance. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current
billing cycle; no refunds are issued for partial months.
Late payments
Invoices unpaid past 14 days may be subject to a 5% monthly late fee.
We reserve the right to pause active work or recurring services until balances are cleared.
05
Revisions & changes
To keep projects on schedule and on budget, the following revision policy applies:
- 3 rounds of revisions are included in every standard project quote.
- After project launch, 2 additional minor revisions are included free of charge during the first 30 days.
- Any further changes after this period are quoted separately and billed by mutual agreement via email.
A "round of revisions" means a single consolidated set of feedback gathered into one email.
Sending feedback in many separate messages may be treated as multiple rounds.
Substantial scope changes — new pages, redesigns, new features beyond the original brief —
constitute new work and are quoted and agreed separately.
06
Timeline & delays
Project timelines are estimates that depend on:
- Timely receipt of content (text, images, brand assets) from the Client.
- Timely Client feedback on revisions (typically within 5 business days).
- Availability of any third-party services or approvals required.
If the Client does not provide requested content or feedback within 14 days,
the project may be paused and re-scheduled based on our availability.
Force majeure events (illness, natural events, third-party outages, hosting failures
outside our control) extend deadlines accordingly without liability.
07
Intellectual property
Final deliverables
Upon full payment, the Client receives full ownership of the final
delivered website — including front-end code, content, and assets specifically created
for the project.
Third-party assets
Stock photos, fonts, plugins, or templates remain governed by their respective licenses.
The Client is responsible for any continued license or subscription fees.
Pre-existing materials
Any code, frameworks, or templates that Futura Web Design developed prior to the
engagement remain our property. The Client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual
license to use them within the scope of the delivered project.
Portfolio rights
Futura Web Design retains the right to display completed work in our
portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials — including screenshots,
project descriptions, and a link to the live site. If the Client requires confidentiality
for the project, this must be agreed in writing via email.
08
Client responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate, timely content (text, images, brand materials).
- Hold the rights or licenses for all materials supplied to us.
- Respond to feedback requests within reasonable time.
- Maintain their own hosting and domain registration unless explicitly included in our service.
- Keep their billing and contact details current.
The Client warrants that all content supplied does not infringe third-party rights
and agrees to indemnify Futura Web Design against any claims arising
from such content.
09
Liability & termination
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Futura Web Design's total liability for any
claim arising from a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the
Client for that specific project.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
- Issues caused by third-party services (hosting, domains, plugins, APIs).
Termination by Client
May be ended with 15 days' written notice via email. The deposit is
non-refundable. Any work completed up to the termination date will be invoiced at the
agreed project rate.
Termination by Futura Web Design
We reserve the right to terminate engagement for non-payment, abusive behavior, or
material breach of these terms. Reasonable notice will be given when feasible.
Upon termination, the Client is entitled to all work completed and paid for as of the
termination date.
10
